Allow for customisation of alerts- subject lines and message text for emails.

Hello. May I know something more about it? Why do you need this kind of customization?

I am using UptimeRobot to monitor the status of a NAS device, which is accessed by multiple people. It would be useful for me to be able to add instructions to down/up alerts, so that other users/alert contacts have a better understanding of what it means or what they need to do (without me having to answer the same questions whenever an alert comes through 😜)

This would be a useful addition in order to automatically warn a third party in case a service is down which affects them. You can use a more ‘friendly’ message for clients for example.

Just to add to this. The difference between this feature ans using the status page is that not all monitors affect all clients. Some are client specific and you might not want to make this monitor visible to all clients via a status page.

Another example, if you are monitoring Internet connections you can add information such as account number, circuit id and the phone number of the Internet provider in the alert. So that the alert has all information needed in it to be able to open a case with the Internet Provider.

with custom status text in notification eMails using placeholders for info (like down-time, IP, monitor name, and so on) one could tran;ate the message to any language.

Also it would be nice if u can add a link to for example the status page.
