Support sub-users (sub-accounts)#7

Let us create a sub-user so we can more effectively manage accounts for multiple stakeholders in our company which need access to UptimeRobot.

The way this has been implemented is very poor for a single (paying) user.

I have multiple contacts which are all for myself (email, iPhone app, SMS, ticketing system via email).

However I can no longer change these contacts and have to subscribe to the “team” plan ($34/mo) to get this functionality back - I’m currenly paying $8/mo.

@Andy Im not sure we are on the same page. Can you please contacts us via support and tell us your problem? We will have a look at it. Thanks.

@Frantisek I’ve tried but it says the agents are too busy.

I have a (now) legacy Pro plan with several alert contacts all for myself - one for email, one for my iPhone app, one for SMS and one for my ticketing system.

Different UptimeRobot checks report into different places (server down = SMS, most others = email + ticketing system, for example.)

I can no longer manage these alert contacts (add or change them) because they are considered “legacy” - and instead I have to subscribe to a Team plan to get sub-users (even though it is just me.)

My plan is currently $8/mo, the Team plan is $34/mo.

@Frantisek I have contacted support and my feedback still stands. Their response was:

Your price stays the same, but there are some limitations:
You are no longer able to add new email and phone alert contacts.
You will no longer be able to add these integrations: Webhook, Zapier, or PagerDuty.
You will be allowed only two simultaneous logins to the Mobile App.

So basically as a legacy user, I’m stuck with the same contacts I have now (I cannot add new ones or change them, only remove them.)

On the new Solo plan, I can only get alerts by email because I cannot add new contacts - I have to upgrade to the Team plan ($34/mo) to get “sub users” instead.

I can only paste what I already sent by email, because it’s just ridiculous:

“So basically what you are saying: Be excited, because we’ve removed some crucial features from your plan (without further notice!) and if you want it back (but in a limited way) you have to pay more. And you make it sound like I should be happy about this?

So whenever I now want to add a customer’s mail to a monitor, so he/she can also get notifications about their website being down, I should buy a seat for them, which costs more than a solo plan? This is insane. Plus doing this without further notice, plus after raising the price by 55% last year and promising to add more features and not removing them!”

It’s a pity this small convenience is going to cost so much. I’ll just do the solo plan till it doesn’t work for me and then move to my other monitoring when necessary.
