Hello…. Uptime robot has been great for over the last 3-4 years.
The new pricing structure has created a blocker for our team.
Our request is to Enable a flag on the user to only be able to see their specific monitors (not all monitors)
How we use Uptime robot today. .
1) Monitior our web apps and gateways.
2) Monitior our Agents (deployed to customer on prem) to ensure the connection to the onprem solution is valid.
Each customer On Prem “agent” connection is two monitors. (one for each gateway)
The benefit to this is our company configures the Agent on the customer’s network, then configures Uptime Robot to show the customers status for our team as well as the customer’s IT team to receive notifications if their specific monitor shows off line (typicaly means they need to restart the windows service”Agent”) If they dont do that that means we need to remind them to take action.
This has worked very well but with the new pricing model we are at risk due to most of our monitors are “customers” agents.. .and we dont want to show a customer’s agent to other customers.
Please feel free to reach out for any requirements or questions.. We would like to continue to use Uptime Robot but we are stuck as moving to the new model will not work for our config.
