I would like to suggest a more flexible option for the Solo plan.
I understand that email subscriptions are currently reserved for higher-tier plans, and I respect that these features are part of your paid offerings.
However, for small independent projects, upgrading to a significantly more expensive plan just to get basic Status Page email notifications can be difficult to justify.
Instead of asking for these features to be included for free, I would like to suggest an optional trade-off within the Solo plan.
For example, Solo users could choose to:
Possible limits could be 5, 15, 50 or even 100 subscribers, depending on what would be reasonable for UptimeRobot.
I personally manage GROUP 1, a small Discord community project run between friends, without any commercial purpose or revenue.
I don’t need advanced notification features, custom email templates or complicated systems. Simple text-based emails notifying subscribers when an incident starts or a service is restored would be perfectly sufficient.
I am not asking to receive the benefits of a more expensive plan while paying less. I am simply suggesting an alternative way to use the value of the Solo plan, by sacrificing some existing features to access another basic functionality.
I believe this could be a reasonable compromise for small communities and independent projects that cannot justify upgrading to a higher-tier subscription.
Thank you for considering this suggestion!
