It would be great to support a configurable failure threshold before sending downtime alerts. Instead of notifying on the first failed check, wait for N consecutive failures.
This helps avoid false positives during brief deployments, daily restarts, transient network issues, or other short-lived interruptions, reducing unnecessary alert noise.
